Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum data needed to run the site, never sell it, and respect your GDPR / LGPD / CCPA rights to access and delete what we have. This page tells you exactly what's stored, where, and for how long.
1. Who we are
Tennis Edge ("we", "us") operates the websites tenisedge.com and tenisedge.com.br. For data-protection purposes the data controller is Tennis Edge Editorial Ltd. Contact: privacy@tenisedge.com.
2. What data we collect
Automatically (every visit)
- IP address — used for geo-targeting (showing the right sportsbook for your jurisdiction) and abuse prevention. Truncated to /24 within 30 days.
- User agent — browser, OS, screen size. Used for analytics and rendering.
- Page URL + referrer — which page you visited and where you came from.
- Cookies — see section 4.
Only if you give it to us
- Email address — if you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Comment content — if you post on an article (pseudonymous, no real name required).
- Account data — if you create a Tennis Edge account in the future. We don't currently offer accounts.
3. How we use it
- Serving you the site (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Aggregate analytics — page views, bounce rate, popular content (legitimate interest).
- Personalized advertising — only if you consent in the cookie banner (consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Affiliate attribution — when you click a sportsbook or Amazon link we record the click ID so the partner credits Tennis Edge if you sign up.
- Newsletter delivery — only if you opted in. One-click unsubscribe in every email.

You can manage cookie preferences via the banner that appears on your first visit, or via your browser settings. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not break the site.
5. Third parties
- Google Analytics — Privacy: policies.google.com/privacy
- Google AdSense — only if you consent. Privacy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Affiliate networks — Amazon Associates, sportsbook partners. They receive only the click event and a Tennis Edge tracking ID, not your identity.
- Hosting — our servers are operated by Hostinger (Lithuania/EU). Encrypted at rest.
- CDN — Caddy server with automatic Let's Encrypt SSL.
6. Where we store data
Servers are physically located in the EU (Vilnius, Lithuania). Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Backups are encrypted and retained 30 days.
7. How long we keep it
- Server access logs: 30 days, then deleted.
- Analytics: 14 months, then aggregated.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- Affiliate click events: 30 days (the cookie window).
8. Your rights
Under GDPR (EU), LGPD (Brazil), CCPA (California), and similar laws, you can:
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you (right of access).
- Correct it if it's wrong (right of rectification).
- Have it deleted (right to erasure / right to be forgotten).
- Object to processing (right to object).
- Have it sent to another service in machine-readable form (right to portability).
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Email privacy@tenisedge.com with your request. We respond within 30 days.
9. Children's privacy
Tennis Edge is intended for adults (21+ in the US, 18+ in most other regulated markets). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, please email us immediately.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced on the site home page and emailed to newsletter subscribers at least 14 days in advance.
